For many instructional coaches, identifying areas of growth isn't a problem. That's because teaching is difficult and complex! But getting a long list of quick fixes all at once can be overwhelming for a teacher, and not much is going to stick. That's why we think an instructional coach should identify one (1!) high-leverage focus area per observation and feedback cycle. This mini is about how to choose where to start, and how to roll-out a teacher's Big Takeaway in a coaching meeting.
